This deals with the fast-approaching tax deadline. The Income Tax Representative advised the public that the deadline will not be extended. For the convenience of the people, camps have been set up throughout the city and the outlying areas with Income Tax Officers to help the public in completing their tax forms. A new scheme has been launched for retailers that earn income less than 50 lakh. They are allowed to pay taxes on 75% of the revenues. Plus, they no longer have to fill many other statements required of retailers with 50 lakh and above revenue.
